If you have a credit repair program in mind, visit the website where the guide is being sold. Look for anything with a date on it. Check the copyright date, any dated articles or blog posts, etc. Chances are, if their website is out of date ... their product could be as well.

Also, check the links on the promoter's website. If you find they are also promoting motorcycle repair and tattoo removal products, then credit repair probably isn't their forte.
